North Webster Parish is home of many “blue highway” towns, off the Interstate and situated in the middle of miles and miles of timberland; buildings are sometimes brick, with signage, suggesting an earlier, simpler time.

In our area of Louisiana, you can easily buy a house with a yard and a garage, on a nice street, for under $100,000...and sometimes well under. The rental market is a similar story. For what a one-bedroom apartment, crammed in with noisy neighbors might cost in the city, you can often rent a whole house in a small town.

  • The school system in North Webster Parish is better than most of their urban counterparts. Springhill High School is a sophisticated educational facility is less than one year old, with state of the art computer and applied science labs. The Sarepta school district recently proposed and successfully completed a voter supported “bond issue” to build a state of the art educational facility. Educational opportunities abound in our area, from highly qualified pre-school, to high school through a continued educational system.
